Do I have to back up my data?

Nope. Through providing you a fully managed IT solution, Applications2U runs backups of your data every night and we retain these backups for 2 months. This allows us to recover any of your data up to 8 weeks old. Back-up tapes are also taken offsite every week.

Is my data safe?

Without Applications2U, all applications and sensitive company information are installed on local computers. If a computer is stolen or discarded improperly, the company information is at risk. Applications2U stores your information at our facility, in a certified, protected environment with 24x7x365 security. 

What if I have a problem or question? Is support available?

We offer 24/7/365 support. You will enjoy the benefit of our support staff as if they were onsite in your offices. Our experienced support technicians provide hands-on support, at no additional cost and our support is never outsourced. 

Are your services affordable?

The Applications2U system is designed specifically for a multi-user environment. Because we serve multiple clients, we make our technology affordable – which allows you to take full advantage of the same technology as a Fortune 500 company. 

How much bandwidth do I need to run my applications in the cloud?

]Our solution is powered by Citrix. Citrix has developed a light weight protocol that is optimized for low bandwidth and high latency connections. What that means is that customers can connect from basically any home, Wi-Fi or cellular connections available today.

What happens if you have an outage?

All of our systems are fully redundant and they are collocated at an enterprise class data center. Our data center is certified to ISO 20000-1 and SSAE 16 Type II audit. The systems have redundant power with UPS and diesel generator backups. And we leverage three separate internet providers.

How does a cloud desktop really work?

Our solution is powered by Citrix in order to deploy a Windows desktop to the end user. We use the Citrix Receiver Client as a gateway for the customer to enter the A2U Cloud. The Citrix Receiver can be easily installed on any device, i.e. PC, MAC, iPad, iPhone, Android, or any other device.

Is this complicated to integrate?

One of our technicians can either walk you through the installation or remote into your device in order to assist with the Citrix Receiver download.
